WHAT IS IMPORTANT

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)

Well, it is a method of tapping with the fingertips at the endpoints of the bodies energy meridians while tuning into a problem.

EFT helps to get to the core issues, and fixes the energy disruption.

Emotions are not meant to remain trapped within the body.

When unresolved experiences are held beneath the surface, they can begin to influence the way we think, feel, respond, and even how the body functions. Over time, emotional stress, limiting beliefs, fears, cravings, and habitual patterns may create disruption within the body’s natural energy flow.

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), often known as tapping, is a gentle mind-body practice designed to help restore balance within the body’s energy system. Through specific tapping points connected to the body’s meridians, EFT works to soften the emotional charge surrounding difficult experiences, allowing the nervous system to release what it no longer needs to hold onto.

For many people, this creates a sense of emotional relief, greater clarity, and a deeper feeling of inner calm.

At the heart of EFT is a simple tapping sequence sometimes referred to as the “100% Overhaul” approach — a process designed to support the body holistically, even when the exact energetic imbalance is not fully known. By tapping through a series of meridian points, the body is gently guided back toward energetic harmony and regulation.

Because the process works with the body’s natural systems, tapping on points that may not require support does not cause harm. Instead, the practice helps ensure that the meridians needing balance are still being addressed with care and intention.
During a one-on-one session — either in person or virtually — you are gently guided through the tapping process and taught how to locate and work with these meridian points effectively. Sessions also explore how the body’s energy system may become energetically “crossed” or reversed, a state sometimes referred to as polarity reversal.
You might think of this like placing a battery into a device the wrong way around. Even when the device itself is functioning properly, the reversed polarity interrupts the flow of energy and prevents it from operating as intended. In a similar way, emotional stress, subconscious resistance, and self-defeating thought patterns may disrupt the body’s energetic alignment, making healing feel more difficult or blocked.

This energetic reversal is often unconscious. Even deeply positive and self-aware individuals may experience it without realizing. Chronic stress, emotional overwhelm, negative self-talk, addictive patterns, unresolved trauma, and prolonged exposure to external stressors can all contribute to this energetic imbalance.

Through EFT, the body is gently supported in returning to a more coherent and regulated state.

EFT was first discovered in the 1980s by psychologist Dr. Roger Callahan, whose work explored the connection between emotions and the body’s energy system. During his research, he observed that tapping on specific meridian points appeared to create rapid emotional shifts in his clients, opening the doorway to what would later become Emotional Freedom Techniques.

His foundational insight became:

“The cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body’s energy system.”

Today, EFT is used around the world as a supportive practice for emotional healing, stress reduction, nervous system regulation, and subconscious rebalancing. Many people turn to EFT to help release emotional pain, fears, limiting beliefs, unresolved memories, anxiety, self-sabotaging patterns, and emotional tension held within the body.

Because tapping is both gentle and practical, it can become a powerful tool not only during sessions, but also within everyday life. Once learned, it can be used in moments of stress, emotional overwhelm, or inner disconnection to help restore a sense of calm, grounding, and emotional clarity.

While EFT is simple in its structure, it is also deeply experiential. Like any healing practice, it unfolds through awareness, consistency, and compassionate self-connection.

As emotional weight begins to soften, space is created for something new to emerge — greater ease, deeper self-trust, emotional freedom, and a more aligned relationship with yourself and your life.

Healing is not about forcing change.
It is about gently releasing what no longer belongs, so the mind and body can remember their natural state of balance once again.
