Hypnosis is a tool for success, which transforms lives and empowers from within.
Hypnotherapy is not about losing control.
It’s about accessing the part of you that already knows how to heal.
For many people, insight alone isn’t enough. You can understand why you feel the way you do—and still remain stuck in the same emotional patterns, reactions, or symptoms. Hypnotherapy works where conscious effort and talk therapy often stop: at the level of the subconscious and the nervous system.
Find your balance, energy & happiness the natural way.
Hypnosis is a tool for success, which transforms lives and empowers from within. Grawben Corona awakens the warrior hidden inside using the power of their own mind.
Hypnosis can be defined as a natural and altered state of awareness. Why altered you ask? Because we as humans poses two states of consciousness. The awakened state and sleep state. However in hypnosis there is the provoked or as previously mentioned, the altered state that is induced by a series of suggestions from a hypnotherapist.
Our conscious state is our state of awareness, also known as our quality of awareness. What consciousness is, is being aware of external and internal stimuli that affect the awareness we hold within ourselves. We operate from the conscious mind less than 5% of the day. The conscious mind takes up about 12% of our mind power.
Our subconscious is the part of the mind which one is not fully aware of, but that influences ones actions and feelings. Underneath the layers of critical-thought functions of our conscious mind, is where all our past memories and experiences are stored away like files. The subconscious makes up about 88% of our mind power.
The altered state of awareness: You know that state right as you are falling asleep where you are still kind of aware of what’s going on around you, but you are also aware that you are falling asleep? We’ll, that’s the hypnotic trance state . You are never really asleep. It is a super calming and relaxing feeling and you will hear and be aware of everything that is going on around you. A common misconception is that people lose control during hypnotherapy. The truth is that people come to a hypnotherapist to gain control, NOT to lose control.
Unless the subconscious mind has the same programming as the conscious mind, the power of positive thinking will not work.

Hypnosis is a strong result based therapeutic modality. Clinical Hypnotherapy is very different from stage hypnosis, which is for entertainment purposes only. Clinical Hypnotherapy is based on Science and Biology. Hypnotherapy is very beneficial in the development of a person, in that it can unravel someone’s hidden potential that has become dormant, like problem solving.
Through hypnotherapy, the hypnotherapist can give the subconscious suggestions to change unwanted behaviors. In the hypnotic trance state, information can more easily come up revealing the reason of a particular block or problem that consciously they would not be able to access. Our subconscious is constantly deleting, distorting, and generalizing based on time/space, language, memories, our programming, values and beliefs, and attitudes. This is what drives our behaviors.
During this procedure, the mind becomes a sensitive receptacle to the hypnotists suggestions, which can be planted firmly into the subconscious mind in order to overwrite limiting belief structures.
“Your mind is always successful at allowing you to arrive at your goals, what may be getting in the way is the pattern of how you have learned to do things.”

Frequently Asked Questions
Most people describe hypnosis as feeling deeply relaxed, calm, and focused, similar to becoming completely absorbed in a good book, a movie, or a daydream. You’ll remain aware of what’s happening around you and can hear, think, and respond throughout the session. Everyone experiences hypnosis a little differently, but it’s generally a comfortable and natural state of focused attention. You are completely in control. At Mind Body Practitioners, you’ll be guided at a pace that feels safe and supportive, ensuring you feel comfortable throughout the entire process.
No. During hypnosis, you remain aware, in control, and able to make your own decisions at all times. Hypnotherapy is a collaborative process, you can’t be made to do, say, or believe anything that goes against your values or wishes. Instead, hypnosis helps you become deeply relaxed and focused, allowing you to work with your subconscious mind while remaining an active participant in the session. It is important to note that people seek hypnotherapy to gain control, not to lose control. At Mind Body Practitioners, your comfort, safety, and trust are always our priority.
Yes. When provided by a qualified and trained professional, hypnotherapy is considered a safe and well-established therapeutic approach for many people. Throughout the session, you remain aware, in control, and able to communicate at any time. At Mind Body Practitioners, your wellbeing is our priority, and every session is tailored to your individual needs, goals, and comfort level to create a safe and supportive environment for healing.
The first session is 1.5 hours. What you can expect from your first session is an extensive review of your timeline and patterns. The first portion of the session is the Cognitive Behavioral portion where we talk about what you would like to address. Then I explain in detail what Hypnosis is and what it isn’t. You will be taught tools, and strategies to help you start living a superior quality of life. I will do a test to see how you process information. It is just a simple yes or no questionnaire. This will let me know how to communicate with you during the hypnosis portion. All of that will be explained to you. The hypnosis portion is during the last 20-30 minutes of the session. The audio of your customized hypnosis will be e-mailed to you so you have it to listen to and reinforce in between each session. Listening to your audio daily is key to your success as you reinforce the suggestions and create new neuropathways.
All follow up sessions are 1 hour. Each individual is different and you can’t put a number on how many sessions you will need. Although hypnotherapy works a lot faster than traditional talk therapy, multiple sessions may be needed until you reach the desired outcome. The first session works on conditioning you to the process. Just having one session is not recommended. Note that subconscious resistance may come up as we start working through the layers. As long as you are open and willing to the process, that is what ultimately creates faster outcomes. Healing is not linear and a definite number can not be given. Statistically people do say they start feeling a significant difference after 6 sessions. The more sessions you have to work through and process things that may surface, the more the nervous system calms as well, and the deeper the customized suggestions drop in and take effect.
